Most of my "Covid collection" focused on "upcycling" abandoned materials, reflecting on the realities of this time of isolation from community and reduced ability to shop. I also incorporated a "face mask" on my figures as a reminder that using masks during a pandemic are a way to demonstrate our care for one another, protecting others as much or more than a self-protection.

Covid at the Market
This was my final piece on repurposed materials for this collection. I used a piece of plywood to depict a vibrant market scene during the pandemic.

My final pieces in this collection were a set of 5 canvases 16" x 20" painted and gifted to special individuals in my life. They all depict vibrant community gatherings, markets, flowers, and agriculture with figures wearing masks. Here are two of those pieces.
